Glossary Item Box

Overview

The Maintain Floaters application allows the user to create and edit existing floater employees. Its purpose is to ensure the correct details are kept up to date allowing for better rostering of employees.

The following table describes the operation of non-standard fields where appropriate.

Field Description
Employee This Pop-up Select dialog box allows the user to select the employee to edit. See the Searching For Data article for more information. Selecting an employee
Home Store This text field shows the store where the employee works from most of the time
Neighbourhoods This list box allows user to select the areas the employee is willing to work.
Add Neighbourhoods This button allows the user to select a neighbourhood and add it to the local neighbourhoods list on the right.
Remove Selected Stores This button allows the user to remove a neighbourhood from the list on the right.
Mobile Number This text field allows the user to change the mobile contact number for the employee.
Days Available Mon-Sun These check boxes indicate which days the employee is available to work.
Available From Mon-Sun These drop-down or time entry fields allow the user to enter the time the employee is available to start work.
Available To Mon-Sun These drop-down or time entry fields allow the user to enter the time the employee is available to.
